About this event

Welcome to the wonderful world of sound.

Join us for a powerful experience with our unique gong bath. Let the sound penetrate your mind body and soul to help remove stagnant energy and leave the stresses of everyday life behind you.

You can expect a deeply relaxing space which helps combat stress and anxiety, quieting the mind, leaving you feeling stress free and calm. It is reported that 30 minutes in a gong bath is equivalent to 4 hours sleep! It boosts the immune system and aids circulation.

Every Gong Bath is a very personal experience, depending on where you are on your journey through life. Ancient Sounds may be your first or 101st experience of sound therapy but you will be warmly welcomed and feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

During the gong bath the brain naturally goes into theta & alpha brain waves, which helps to promote a state of deep relaxation, clarity & meditation. Some people relax completely so that they fall asleep – if this happens your subconscious state of mind will continue with the relaxation process.

During this particular gong bath we will be focusing on reducing stress and anxiety, calming the body and the mind. We will be focusing on cleansing and clearing stress and blockages in the body to help reduce the feelings and symptoms of stress and anxiety.

About Andrew

Ancient Sounds manifested itself through Andrew’s love of all things spiritual and holistic. Over a 25 year spiritual awakening Andrew has built up an excellent reputation of crystal therapy, Reiki healing (he is a Reiki master), leading courses on psychic development, crystal therapy and drumming circles.

In 2019 Andrew created his first sound therapy CD ‘Calling The Ancients’, using an array of quartz singing bowls. This has now led to the development of a unique sound bath using gongs, singing bowls and other instruments.

What to Bring with You?

A yoga mat (optional) we provide yoga mats to lie on but feel free to bring your own.

Pillows/cushions - we do have a few cushions however we recommend bringing your own and however many you like to be as comfy as possible.

Blanket - again we do have blankets but we recommend bringing your own, some people even bring a duvet!

Eye mask- on the lighter evenings you may want to bring an eye mask or eye pillow with you to block out the evening sunlight

Bottle of water

Wear comfy clothes, layers, warm socks- we recommend wearing whatever you feel comfortable in. As you will be lying down for 45 mins - 1 hour you may get a little cold during the colder months so wrap up warm

What to do at the session?

Andrew will greet you at the door, then you will be taken upstairs to the middle floor where you will take your shoes off and leave any bags. You will then be taken upstairs where you can choose your yoga mat and your space.

Andrew will then explain a little about gongs and what he will be doing during your sound bath.

Then lie back, get comfy and let the sounds of the gongs take you into deep relaxing state!
