Last time we threw a karaoke night, we raised over £600 for Abortion Support Network, which helped women travel to access safe abortions 💕
This time, we are SO back with a pub quiz to raise money for Women for Women International. They are an amazing charity who work with women living through and facing conflict and violence. They support women in Palestine, Syria, Nigeria, Yemen, Afghanistan and other countries too.
Sadly, women are often the first to lose safety, healthcare and rights and the last to get support, so we'd really love to show ours 🌸
It’s been two years since the Hamas attacks on 7 October 2023, and nearly a million women and girls in Gaza have been displaced, and pregnant women have been struggling to get food and care. Sometimes it feels overwhelming, but this quiz is our very small way of showing solidarity and raising funds.
There’ll be cake, prizes and lots of love. We’ll have 7 teams of 4–5 people.
We’ll help sort you on the night but if you want to arrive as a team feel free, also if you're coming solo we'll put you with cool people so you can make new friends. Speaking of, do invite your lovely friends!
