Good Governance and Ethical Standards for Managers and Staff
Thu 8 December 2016, 09:00 – 17:00 GMT
Recent high profile cases have shown that it is essential that there is a clear understanding of the requirements of good governance and ethical behaviours at all levels in an organisation and not just in the boardroom and at senior management levels.
As a result of attending this programme, delegates will gain a detailed understanding of what effective corporate governance means in practice and the practical implications of the Nolan Principles including how to handle conflicts of interest; gifts, hospitality and sponsorship; procurement and contract management; and accountability and stewardship.
Delegates will come away from the course with an appreciation of how to embed good governance and ethical standards in their organisations and armed with practical tips, guidance, checklists etc. which will make them indispensible assets to their organisations.
