About this event

WHAT SHOULD GOOD GOVERNANCE LOOK LIKE?

Since 2005 the Charity Governance Code has been developed and overseen by a charity sector steering group. It is not a legal or regulatory requirement but provides 7 key pillars and is a valuable tool in striving towards good practice.

The Charity Governance Code was refreshed in 2020 and has led to changes to the Code’s principles on equality, diversity and inclusion and integrity.

Shivaji Shiva, Senior Charity Partner, VWV will present the Code and recent changes and facilitate a discussion on how these pillars are reflected in funders' governance and leadership and in grant making practice.
