I'm new to sketching and nervous about drawing in a group. How can you put me at ease?

If you don't want to show anyone your work, you don't have to. The purpose of this is to have some fun! However I would also remind you that drawing is an act of observing and exploration. I will encourage you to abandone any pursuits of perfection and embrace mistakes in order to progress.

Do I have to stay for the whole time?

No, as long as you are there for the start, you can leave whenever you need to.

I will always have a few sketchbooks and pencils / pens etc that I can sell to you on the day. If you have some art materials at home that you're keen to try, then do bring them along. These workshops are all about learning and experimenting!
