Event description

Description

On the 1st of May 2018, Koreo will host a special Good Women event to talk about the future of meaningful work

At Koreo we're spending the beginning of 2018 thinking about how approaches to social change will evolve over the next 10 years in the context of rapidly shifting technologies, changing demographics, and political uncertainty. This event providing a space for people in our network to come together to hear from peers, compare notes, and get some new ideas. We will also have a healthy focus on talent and organisations as you'd expect, looking at the intersection of issues like wellbeing, gender inequality, automation, and decentralised leadership.

The event, hosted at Impact Hub King’s Cross, will include our famous Soapbox, a facilitated conversation, and bags of time for connection too! Do join us for a wonderful evening of networking and debate with fellow Good Women and get ready to discuss some of these questions:

  • Should all currently unpaid care work be paid the national minimum wage?
  • Should a tax on big technology companies pay for universal basic income?
  • Should mental health services be provided in-house by employers?
  • You're going to be working at 85. What sort of job will you have?

We're still looking for Soapbox speakers, so do get in touch with floree@koreo.co if the future is your thing!
