Following another successful edition of Good Women in July, we’re getting together for one more dose of inspiration before the year ends.
Good Women is a free and open network for women - across sectors, organisations and at different stages of life - interested in social change. Hosted by talent consultancy and incubator Vanilla Ventures, the network aims to mobilise female talent to addressing some of the pressing complex issues we face today.
At our July event we covered a range of topics, from food waste and building communities to politics, sexual consent and racism. The energy in the room was just fabulous and so were the conversations! You can see some photos here.
We also launched discussion streams around three specific issues: gender equality, social mobility and food security and we’re also planning on starting some Innovation Labs around them. At our 11th of October meeting, we will continue exploring these topics, as well as running another episode of our famous Soapbox, where anyone in the room can get 3 minutes to speak to the network. If you would like to speak at our next event or get involved with one of our Innovation Labs, email floree@vanillaventures.co.uk.
Come along to have a drink on us and meet some other good women! If you'd like to stay in the loop, sign up to the Good Women mailing list here
