Event description
Goodfest Digital; exploring sustainable change through purposeful ideas and actions.

About this Event

3.30pm - 5:00pm BST on Thursday 2nd July we will be hosting a Goodfest Digital session on traversing the future of creative sustainability in business.

Leap's Founder, Matt Hocking, trained B Leader and an ambassador for B Corporation UK, will be joined by Sara Collinge, Managing Director of Don't Cry Wolf, in a conversation about the impact that 2020's turn of events has had on creativity, sustainability and climate. Don’t Cry Wolf is a communications consultancy on a mission to tackle inauthenticity, injustice and irrelevance by helping brands communicate honestly. Over the past decade, Sara has worked with a smorgasbord of brands, from global giants like Unilever to the world’s brightest startups. The rest of the time she is a wannabe yogi, co-host of the ‘Vegan Curious’ podcast and mother to her rescue pup Douglas.

Fiona Wotton and Laura Giles will also be introducing CLASH; Cornwall’s climate and sustainability hive hosted by Cultivator. Together we are building a collective creative sector mindset to address the climate emergency and support businesses in growing a circular economy. As we rebuild from the corona crisis, we have the opportunity to do business differently and to put sustainable development principles at the heart of what we do. This won’t be easy. We will undoubtedly disagree on the detail. CLASH will provide the space and inspiration for debate and will amplify voices seeking change.

Fiona is the Director of Cornwall 365, a network of cultural organisations and tourism businesses across Cornwall working to raise our region’s profile as a year-round destination for the arts, culture and heritage. Laura is Screen and Digital Creative Business Advisor at Cultivator Cornwall, a business development programme that supports the creative sector in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Cultivator is a project run by Creative Kernow and works in partnership with the University of Plymouth, Real Ideas Organisation, Cornwall College and Cornwall Development Company.
