Fundamentally, you’d like more incoming enquiries, right?

It’s likely that we assume that customers behave the same way as we do when searching for a new product or service, but this isn’t the case. We are all individuals, with different needs to satisfy and therefore we shop in different ways. One thing that most of us do have in common, is that we turn to Google to help us source information – 90% of all search engine usage, worldwide, is on Google.

Most businesses have a website to offer their current and future customers information about their products and services. You’re probably already very aware of the need to have strong ‘calls to action’ on your website, as ideally you want your website visitors to get in touch…. especially if they are a brand new customer to you.

You know about the incoming enquiries made into your business, but what about those you are not aware of, because they didn’t get as far as making the enquiry?

This workshop is designed to help you learn more about the way your web visitors behave on your website, so that you can understand why the enquiries which didn’t happen, sadly didn’t happen. You will then be armed with some actions to take in order to drive enquiry levels up.

What Google Analytics Can Tell You About How Customers Behave on Your Website?

Google Analytics helps you to analyse the behaviour of visitors to your website, making it easier to for you to help your current customers and win new ones. Google Analytics will tell you how people use your website, including which pages they look at and how long they stay browsing your site (and much more!)

Google Analytics gives you the ability to extract actionable insights based on real data. Once you understand the way your website visitors behave, you can take the necessary actions to enhance the experience that your visitors get, therefore improving your chances of receiving an enquiry. The knowledge you get from Google Analytics doesn’t just help you track your marketing objectives, it helps you enhance the results you get in the future.

Do I need to prepare for the workshop?

This is a hands-on workshop, so you should already have Google Analytics installed and working on your website. Please bring your laptop and your Google Analytics logon.

You will get the most out of the session if you are prepared to discuss your website and your Google Analytics data in a safe, supportive environment with a small group of like-minded people.

Who's facilitating the workshop?

This event is a collaboration between Penny Jones of Outerbridge and Rachael Howourth of Momentum South West.
