Description

‘Google in the Classroom’ - A FREE event for Educationalists at Google’s London Offices

Introduction

G Suite for Education is a free service available to all UK schools.

Widely adopted in America and Europe, it is rapidly gaining popularity in the UK, and is soon to be incumbent in all Scottish schools.

This event is relevant to members of the SLT, Heads of Department, Teachers, Heads of IT, or Google advocates within schools (secondary and primary), academies, multi-academy trusts or FE Colleges.

  • For SLTs Google for Education tackles issues such as improving classroom performance, easing class and school administration, and enhancing student/school security, whilst simultaneously reducing IT costs;

  • For Teachers it is changing the learning environment and improving student attainment, enabling students to access information almost anywhere, and allowing them to work collaboratively;

  • For IT Specialists it is eliminating mundane maintenance tasks, improving portfolio management, and enabling improved, scalable, IT provision, even with ever-reducing budgets.

To get the best from this event we recommend that people representing at least two of these departments in any school or college attend this event.

Please note: The event is only open to people working in education.
