Event Details

On Wednesday 27th March, Campus London is delighted to host entrepreneur and co-founder of Wikipedia, Jimmy Wales, as part of our relaunched speaker series.

Jimmy Wales was born in 1966, in Huntsville, Alabama. In March 2000, he founded a free online encyclopedia called Nupedia, which sought free contributions from experts and subjected them to an intensive peer-review process. Frustrated by slow progress, he turned to a new type of software called wiki, to create Wikipedia, a companion encyclopedia site to which anyone could contribute.

Join us at Campus for what is set to be a fascinating talk. The event is free!
