About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

These days, data analysts are in high demand. That’s probably because it’s estimated that 90% of today’s data was generated in the last two years… That’s a lot to analyse.

If you’re thinking about adding data skills to your professional toolkit, or looking for a whole new career in data, this free class is a great starting point.

Join us in this 1 hour class to get hands-on practice with the basics of data analytics and see if you’ve got what it takes to become a data analyst.

You’ll learn how to ask the right questions of your data and use basic analytic functionality in Google Sheets. Then, apply your new found analytics skills to a real-world dataset and develop recommendations based on your findings.

This is an entry level class, so no prior knowledge is necessary.

You’ll leave this class with:

  • An understanding of what data is and how it’s used.
  • Basic Google Sheets formulas and functions.
  • Hands-on practice with Pivot Tables.
  • Confidence to continue practising your analytics skills.

Bonus: there will be time at the end for a live Q&A with the instructor.
