You will slide down natural flumes and rapids, dive into crystal clear pools, swim behind waterfalls and take part in a whole host of other water-based adventures.
Gear up with wetsuits, helmets and buoyancy aids to explore the fantastic Lui Gorge (nr Braemar). This activity involves walking and scrambling beside the gorge as well as swimming and wading in it. There is also the option to jump from various heights and go behind the curtain of a large waterfall!
Instructors will introduce you to this fun sport, suitable for all skill levels and people aged 12 and above. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult on the session.
- Directions - Our gorge walking site is located near Braemar. Head to Braemar on the A93 heading from either North or South. When you reach Braemar, turn into the village onto Mar Road. Follow this road through the village and out onto the Linn of Dee Road. Follow this road for several miles and you will cross the River Dee over a stone bridge and the road will double back on itself, heading along the opposite side of the river. Follow this road and you will cross another bridge over the Lui. There is a cattle grid in the road and you can park either side of it. Our instructor will meet you there.
- Participants are to wear swimwear under their clothes, wear warm flexible clothing and bring a towel. Changing ponchos will be available.

Cancellation - should we have to cancel any session for any reason then we will contact you by phone or email. Should you need to cancel you would need to give 7 days notice in order to receive a refund.

The sessions will be running unless you are specifically contacted by the Adventure Aberdeen team. Sessions are run in most weathers and we provide excellent equipment to allow this to happen.
