Join BBC Media Action online for the livestream of its 'Governance and Accountability' event, from the BBC's Broadcasting House in London.

The event will see policymakers, practitioners and researchers discuss the role of media and communication in governance and accountability – to understand what works, why and implications for future governance and accountability strategies.

The discussion will build on the insights from BBC Media Action’s research and learning under its 2011-17 UK Department for International Development (DFID) funded global grant.

The event will be livestreamed on YouTube; you can also follow the discussion on Twitter and Facebook using #poweroftalk.

The debate will be chaired by the BBC’s Ritula Shah with an eminent panel of experts including:
