Governing Board Self Evaluation - Cohort 1

This course will cover the Competency Framework for Governors that was published by the DfE in 2017. The framework covers the key roles and capabilities of governing boards in relation to strategic leadership, accountability and the management of people. In addition, the framework touches on appropriate structures, key areas of compliance and the responsibilities of governing boards to evaluate their own effectiveness. This course will provide an overview of the framework and help governors to reflect on the operation of their own board.

Cost - This training is free if you have subscribed to the Learn Sheffield subscription offer which includes the governance training package. For non-subscribing schools the cost will be £95 per person per session.
