Renamed for 2025 to better reflect its activities, our Government Affairs Working Party focuses on BIVDA’s advocacy and policy development work. Members make a vital contribution in steering BIVDA’s activities in this field. Aiming to inform, educate and influence the government and stakeholders to ensure the best possible political environment for IVDs, the group informs our consultations responses, briefings to politicians and engagement with government.

With the Labour government’s focus on NHS reform, there is more opportunity than ever before to place diagnostics at the heart of healthcare. This working party is well suited to those working in advocacy, marketing, or government affairs.
