Enjoy a lunchtime tour of the Government Art Collection (GAC), focusing on the unique stories behind the Collection. GAC staff will lead three tours, exploring how art is used in ministerial offices, from the purpose of art in Government buildings, to the selection of works and their installation. View historical to contemporary works currently at the main GAC building including works by William Powell Frith, Bridget Riley and Derek Boshier. Discover in which Government buildings works have been displayed and the public figures who have acted as temporary guardians. There will also be an opportunity to see behind the scenes areas of the building.
All tours are free and will last an hour and are aimed at those over 16 years old. The GAC premises are not suitable for wheelchair users.
