Would you like to... help to produce something beautiful, insightful or meaningful to benefit the community, or your *business?
*Birmingham City Council could potentially buy an application or website service created off the back of open data)

The "unconference" Agenda:
Day1 ~ Fri 8th JUNE 18:15 ~ 20:30 (maybe later if possible)
-- Intro/Speakers, Problems to Solve, Ideas & Networking.
Day2 ~ Sat 9th JUNE 10:30 ~ 20:30
-- Hacking with Open / Free Data all day long to create something (App,Website,Tool,other?) or to find out something nobody knew before (data journalism-esq)
* UPDATE:
• As discussed on Day 1 the main themes to be worked on will be a Quality of Life Index & associated Visualisations/Mapping.
+ Some sort of framework/schema description for Birmingham City Council's open data platform.
DATA SETS & Platforms:
• Access to Police API secured.
• Data.gov.uk
• The Guardian Datastore
• Open Street Map
• Azure Datamarket (if anything is free to use)
• Alpha of Birmingham Open Data Platform
(it will at least be discussed )

Please bring your own laptop/tablet/smartphones & ANY cool programs or datasets you may have. Free strong signal WI-FI is available to all.
