You are invited to an event for the voluntary and community sector, hosted by the National Children’s Bureau,on the Department of Health’s plans for working with partners to improve health outcomes and services for children and young people.

On 19th February the government published its ‘system-wide’ response to the Children and Young People’s Health Outcomes Forum, as well as a pledge to improve children’s health outcomes and reduce child deaths. Read the new documents here.

This free event will be an opportunity to:

  • Hear from the Department of Health about the government’s plans for improving children’s health services and outcomes
  • Discuss and share your views with health decision-makers about the implications of the plans for children and young people and the voluntary and community organisations that work with them


  • Flora Goldhill, Department of Health, Director - Children, Families & Maternity and Health Inequalities
  • Christine Lenehan, co-Chair of the Children and Young People’s Health Outcomes Forum

Speaker contributions will be followed by roundtable discussions to explore the implications of the government’s response to the Forum.
