GP Adult Education Annual Safeguarding Leads Event

About this Event

Venue: The Bridge, Bolton it will be held in the Clifton Suite. Date: 23rd October 2019 Time: 13:00-13:30-registration, tea and coffee.

13:30- 16:00 (2.5 hours)

Is there going to be lunch provided at this event?


However, there will be tea and coffee available. You are more than welcomed to bring your own lunch however the Safeguarding team will not be providing you with lunch.

Is this a mandatory training event?

No, it is not and it has not been mentioned in the Bolton Quality Contract 19-20 however we do recommend you try and attend as the Adult event was held last year too. Please ask your practice Safeguarding Lead to decide whether you need to attend.

If you are unsure whether to attend then please refer to the

  • GP training matrix available on the GP & Staff Zone
  • If you are a SG Lead then you have received the training matrix in July via email.
  • Contact your Practice Manager who has received the matrix in July.
  • Liaise with your practice SG Lead who should be able to decide whether you need to attend.
