Dr. Rather has more than 8 years’ experience working as a consultant physician in Geriatric and General Medicine in University College Hospital, London . He is the head of Geriatric medicine department at UCH. His postgraduate training was mainly in northwest London at Imperial college hospitals NHS trust. He is a clinical associate professor in UCL medical school heavily involved in teaching of medical students.

His specialist interests are Parkinson's disease, Dementia, frailty, perioperative care, complex disease management, acute medical care of adult patients
