Description

Mr Noorani is a Consultant Orthopaedic Suergon specialising in upper limb. Currently, Mr Noorani works at St Bartholomew's and Royal London Hospital (Barts Health NHS) as a substantive Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon, specialising in trauma and upper limb surgery. He qualified from the Imperial College School of Medicine (London) in the year 2000. He completed his Orthopaedic and Trauma training on the prestigious Royal London Hospital rotation and has further specialised in Upper Limb Surgery including Trauma. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Tr and Orth) in 2009.

He undertook further Specialist Fellowship training in Shoulder, Elbow and Upper Limb Surgery at the world-renowned Upper Limb fellowship programme at The Royal Liverpool Hospital. The Liverpool Upper Limb Unit Fellowship is one of best in the country specialises in complex arthroscopic shoulder surgery and upper limb trauma surgery.

His special interests include:

* Shoulder Instability including Traumatic, Atraumatic, and Muscle Patterning Instability (Multidirectional Instability)
* Sports Injuries with a special interest in treatment of the Shoulder and Elbow Sports Injuries
* Management of Rotator Cuff Injuries and Frozen Shoulder
* Arthroscopy of the Shoulder, Elbow, and Wrist
* Shoulder Arthroplasty (Primary and Revision)
* Elbow Arthroplasty (Primary and Revision)
* Hand and Wrist Surgery including a MDT approach to carpal tunnel syndrome
* Trauma with a special interest in Upper Limb Trauma including Clavicle/ACJ/Scapula/Proximal Humerus, Elbow, Hand and Wrist injuries.
* Management of Early Onset Arthritis
* Rehabilitation of the Shoulder and Elbow

Mr Sebastian Dawson- Bowling is a Consultant Orthopaedic Suergon specilaising in lower limb.Mr Dawson-Bowling specialises in all aspects of lower limb surgery, most predominantly primary and revision hip and knee surgery. He holds a substantive consultant contract with Barts Health NHS Trust, with clinical duties at both the Royal London Hospital and Gateway Surgical Centre.

He completed his undergraduate training at Magdalene College, Cambridge and Guy's and St Thomas's Hospitals. Since qualifying in 2000 he has gained extensive experience in all areas of orthopaedic surgery, culminating in subspecialist training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore and the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.

Key aspects of Sebastian's practice include:
'Total hip and knee replacement
'Assessment and treatment of the painful or failing joint replacement
'Partial knee replacement
'Knee arthroscopy (keyhole surgery)


The evening seminar will commence at 18:30 with registration & refreshments, with speakers to begin talks at 19:00 for a 20:15 finish.
