*Exclusive event for GP's and healthcare professionals.

In the UK, more than 10 million people have arthritis or other, similar conditions that affect the joints.[1]

On Wednesday 13th March, at The BMI Alexandra Hospital, we are hosting an educational GP event on robotic surgery and joint injections.

The session will comprise of five interactive workshops, allowing you to practice your injection techniques on purpose made medical training models.

One of the workshops will focus on robotic-assisted surgery - giving you an insight into this new pioneering procedure.

The following consultants will be facilitating workshops at the event:

  • Mr Adam Hoad Reddick, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, will demonstrate the latest in robotic-assisted technology
  • Miss Ladan Hajipour, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, will demonstrate hand and wrist injections
  • Mr Sanat Shah, Consultant Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon, will demonstrate knee injections
  • Mr Richard Samarji, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, will demonstrate foot injections
  • Mr Puneet Monga, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, will demonstrate shoulder injections

Joint pain is a very common problem with many possible causes – at this event you will have the opportunity to discuss the possible causes of joint pain, joint injections and robotic-assisted surgery.

The event is free and will run from 18:30 to 21:30 and will support your CPD. Food and refreshments will also be provided.
