GradNet Seminar: Managing Your Online Identity
For postgraduate students in the Faculty of Humanities, University of Southampton
While we are all familiar with social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter, we probably use them in a personal manner. But how can we harness these tools to use them to promote our professional online identities? This session will cover which websites you can use, how to use them effectively, and which might be best for you - regardless of what level you are in your PhD, or how much experience you have with social media.
Note: To make the most of this session, please bring a device (mobile, tablet, laptop, etc) which is able to access the internet. Wifi is available across the campus with Eduroam.
If you have any questions, you can contact us via email us at email@example.com
