Join this interactive webinar to gain an in-depth understanding of how to apply for jobs, where to find openings and outreaching employers to seek out opportunities.

  • Melanie Mitchell, Graduate Futures Careers Consultant - Leveraging over 20 years of experience as a Buyer, Headhunter and now Consultant, Melanie has worked with numerous brands including Christian Louboutin, Vivienne Westwood, Threads Styling, Sweaty Betty, and Inditex on projects relating to talent acquisition and executive search. Passionate about helping to build both brands and careers by putting the right people, in the right place at the right time she continues to use her industry expertise to coach and inspire the next generation looking to pursue careers in fashion.
  • Amelia Cross, Graduate Futures Careers Consultant - Following her degree in Bespoke Tailoring at LCF, Amelia has spent over 7 years working in the fashion and art industry. Amelia started her career in womenswear production at ERDEM, moving on to work as a design assistant and studio manager for ROBERTS-WOOD. She worked at creative start-up Avant Arte to develop their sales, communications, and business strategy before focusing on consulting fashion graduates.

We collect the information you provide when registering to attend an event, for the purposes of our LCF Graduate Futures engagement reporting. We collect this information to manage our activities and events, to send you information about the event, to share speaker presentations and to request feedback after the event.

When you register for an event, you are giving us consent to us using the information you provide to facilitate your attendance. It is in our legitimate interest to ask you for feedback about our events, contact you about other relevant LCF Graduate Futures events, activities, and opportunities, should they arise. For example: paid opportunities, project participation etc.

We may share your data if it is necessary for the management of the event, for example we may share your name with the venue if they require it for security access, or with the catering company if you have specific dietary requirements. We will only share the information they need to complete their tasks, it will be shared securely. We do not share your information for any other purpose. We will ask for separate consent if there is a need to share your details with other parties or attendees. Not agreeing to this will not impact your ability to participate in our event.

When collecting your data, it is our policy to ensure that your information provided is processed fairly and lawfully. Only authorised staff have access to personal information, and they are obliged to respect its confidentiality. Your participation in our events is voluntary, and the data from signing-up to these activities will be retained for a period of 5 years (unless otherwise agreed). However, you can request that your information and record of your involvement to be removed at any point.

Frequently asked questions

When will I receive the event joining information?

For all our events and activities, you will receive a reminder email with joining instructions 1-2 days before the event. If the session is running virtually, you will receive all of the joining links with this reminder and the day before the activity.

This event is in person, how can I find your building in East Bank?

Do I need any specific equipment to participate?

If you are joining our virtual sessions, you will need a device to access the session through Microsoft Teams (online or desktop app). For in-person events we recommend bringing notebooks and pens, as well as a device to be able to access any digital elements of the activity and network.

I don’t go London College of Fashion, can I still attend the event?

Our events are for LCF students, graduates and alumni only. If you are not a student or graduate with London College of Fashion you will be removed from the event access lists. This is because Graduate Futures is a bespoke LCF service department and we only have capacity to support our own students.
