Description

We look forward to welcoming DRDC's and Tutors to our summer event. This will be an opportunity to:

  • Find out about recent and upcoming developments within the Graduate School, including GSDP 2017-18, PRES 2017, bursaries (Inc. Faculty, ESRC SCDTP & International), PGR recruitment and much more!

  • To hear University Research and Innovation update from Professor Pal Ahluwalia

12.00- 12.30pm GSDP summer tutor event: review of 2016/17 and new developments for 2017/18 (Dr Darren van Laar & Dr Marine Joly)

12.30- 1.10pmLunch for GSDP tutors and DRDCs

1.15 - 1.45pmUniversity Research and Innovation update from Professor Pal Ahluwalia

1.45- 2.00pmCoffee break

2.00- 3.30pmDRDC summer event: review of 2016/17 and new developments for 2017/18 (Dr Darren Van Laar & others). To include updates on: eLearning, PGR recruitment, Subject Specific & Advanced Training, Research Supervision events

3.30- 4.00pmInformal discussion and feedback to the GS Team

The events between 12.00pm and 2.00pm will be likely to be of most interest to GSDP tutors, and those between 12.30pm and 4.00pm for DRDCs. However, you are very welcome to stay for the whole event.
