New for Spring 2017! GrammaticArts® Acting, Public Speaking and Soft Skills
This exciting course is designed for those who desire to explore or develop their acting and voice skills, or who wish to enhance their communication and public speaking skills for daily life and the work place.
Past students have included business professionals of all backgrounds as well as trainee and professional actors.
GrammaticArts Acting, Public Speaking and Soft Skills is designed for students with a good working knowledge of English.
The syllabus includes:
-Vocal exercises to develop your voice as an instrument, and access its full power to enable you to communicate your message clearly
-Physical warm ups to help you use your body to communicate, both in acting and in presentation situations
-Improvisation and role-play for everyday situations, designed to develop your soft skills as well as focus, listening, team work, spontaneity and bravery
-Speech preparation and presentation technique including exercises to enhance or refresh your writing skills
-Monologue or scene study* with techniques to develop you actors’ toolkit
* at the discretion of the course tutor
-Key vocabulary from both the Drama classroom and the acting industry
-Optional 30 minute tutorial in ESL support, CV support, acting industry advice, careers or enterprise coaching, which takes place during the course at a mutually convenient time
-Certificate upon completion of the course, including number of hours attended, to enhance your CV and employability.
This course will help you to develop confidence, expression, stage presence and social skills, in a fun, relaxed and supportive environment. You will develop and build on your existing skills in listening, collaboration and focus, and improve your leadership skills and confidence for your daily life and career goals.
The class size will not exceed 16 students.

Course fee: £180: 30% Spring discount: £126, offer valid until 26th March 2017
Saturdays 2.30pm – 5.30pm
Venue: Jacksons Lane, Highgate, London, N6 5AA (Northern Line or 134 or 43 bus)
For adult students of all ages, aged 18 and above. Early booking is advised as places are limited.
