Grant Giving - What I Wish I'd Known. A Ten Years' Time Event & Party After
Thu 8 December 2016, 16:00 – 18:45 GMT
The team at Ten Years' Time would like to invite you to an event with four leading thinkers and doers in the space of grant-making to talk about what they wish they'd known when they started their careers, the mistakes they've made and what they want to do differently with their grant-making in the future.
We are giving the audience a chance to challenge what they hear and are asking for brutal honesty from speakers and hope that it'll make for a non-traditional event.
Confirmed speakers to include:
- Nicola Brentnall, Director of the Queen's Trust
- Fran Perrin, Founder of the indigo Trust
- Jo Andrews, Co-Founder of Equileap
- Sarah Ridley, Chief Grants Officer at the London Marathon Trust
The event is open to anyone involved in grant-giving and is part of the Ten Years' Time Grant Giving Programme for grants officers, executives and trustees who are keen to develop and challenge ideas around best practice in this space.
We have the upstairs room at the Camden Head (the one in Angel, not the one in Camden!) for an event that will open doors (and bar) at 4pm and run formally from 4.30 to 6.30. After which we will then have food, drink and one hell of a Christmas party for anyone wanting to stay.
It's free to join and hope to see you there so please feel free to RSVP and share with colleagues in grant-giving who you think would be interested to join.
