Grants Panel Member Information Event
📅 Date: Tuesday 27th January
📍 Location: Online
⏰ Time: 17.00 -17.45
Wiltshire & Swindon Community Foundation is an independent charity dedicated to tackling disadvantage and strengthening local communities by inspiring local philanthropy, connecting people and resources, and supporting the voluntary sector.
We are one of the largest grant-giving organisations in Wiltshire and Swindon. Each year we award around £2.5 million through hundreds of grants to grassroots voluntary and community groups to enable more local people to thrive. We also support young people to improve their development, education, and future employment through our education grants programmes.
We are looking to recruit new volunteer Grants Panel Members from Wiltshire or Swindon to help us make funding decisions that support charities and community groups across the county. If you’re passionate about your community and want to play a part in creating fairer, more resilient and thriving places, sign up to join our information event to find out more..
We welcome a diversity of voices
Our communities are full of different experiences, perspectives and stories — and we want our Panels to reflect that. We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, including those who might not usually consider themselves for roles like this.
If you’d like to find out more about the role, and how to apply, please join us for our online information event which is a friendly, informal opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from our team.
If you’re not able to join us on the day, please register anyway and we’ll send you more information.
We look forward to meeting you!
