    Online event

Are you a volunteer getting involved with grants for the first time?

    About this event

It may be that you haven’t been involved in grants within your group before, or that your group is thinking about offering grants for the first time.

These sessions will give you the information you need about our grants and how groups assess and process them.

    We'll be looking at:

    • Health and Wellbeing Grants and Carers Grants – who can apply and what the grants include

    • Principles of good grant making, and what these mean for our processes

    • What your group needs to have in place to offer a grants service

    • The different stages of processing a grant – from enquiry, to assessment, to paying grants and record keeping

    • What guidance and resources are available to help, and where to find them

We’re limiting these sessions to 15 people, so please do join a waitlist if you can’t register – we'll add another session if there’s enough demand.

This meeting will take place via Zoom, a video conferencing application (similar to FaceTime or Skype) which allows you to participate via your PC at home, your tablet or your mobile phone. You may need to download the Zoom app to your device before you join a session.

When you join an online session, you can see and interact with the other participants on your screen. You can choose to use your device’s camera or to just be a voice in the discussion. You can also simply join the meeting by phone, including from a landline.

Once you have registered for an event, the information for joining the meeting will be emailed to you.
