Learn how to write a good funding bid for your group with this free 2 hour course.
Whilst every application for grants will be for a different project and could be for £100 or £100,000, there are things in common to them all.
The course will explain what funders are looking for and help you to make a strong application.
The training will be an interactive workshop-style session and by the end you should be able to:
Understand the story your application needs to tell
Look at what works and what doesn’t!
Learn how to get all your ducks in a row!
Be confident in writing a strong grant application.
Awards for All - the Big Lottery's small grants fund - is open for applications from community groups, chariteis & parish councils for between £300 and £10,000. This workshop will spend a little time looking at the specific requirements of an Awards for All application.
Places are limited to 20 and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
If the course is over-subscribed we will arrange another.
Tea and coffee will be available from 1.30pm
The New Life Centre has parking to the rear, accessed from Pooles Lane (off Ashby Road).
PLEASE NOTE: A CANCELLATION FEE OF £20 MAY BE MADE FOR "NO SHOWS" UNLESS LEGITIMATE REASONS ARE GIVEN WITH AT LEAST 24 HOURS NOTICE.
