In 2010, Andre Geim and Kostya Novoselov, from the University of Manchester, received the Nobel Prize for Physics for synthesizing graphene (2-dimensional carbon), hailed as the ‘miracle material’ of the future. Technology/IP expert Mark Lewney reveals some of the remarkable properties and possible uses of graphene, and talks to some of the researchers behind the discovery.
