Description

Grasslands in the South Pennines are important to farming incomes but they also sustain internationally important poulations of birds, pollinators and waxcaps. In the morning there will be speakers with a wax cap identification workshop in the afternoon ( come prepared with footwear and waterproofs).

You do not need to be an expert to attend.

You will need to register here but you do not need to print out the ticket.

Note: Gibson Mill is one mile from the car park and takes 20 minutes to walk from the National Trust Car Park .

Car parking – please put a note in the windscreen that you are attending the waxcap seminar.

Lunch courtesy of the National Trust ( sandwiches).
