In the last year, the Grassmarket Community Project has provided over 8,500 free meals to Edinburgh's most vulnerable and socially isolated people. We also provide a range of free activities that support, nuture and build people to a point of recovery or finding the strength to tackle life.
Our support ranges from a soup kitchen service for people who are desitute or roughsleeping, to accredited training in catering, to supported employment for people with mental health issues or a physical or learning disability - and we cannot do this without your help. All we need you to do is come and enjoy yourself with your partners, family, friends or colleagues.
We are an independent local charity set up by Greyfriars Kirk and Grassmarket Mission aimed at helping people in recovery or at risk to re-connect with themselves, with others and the wider community as well most importantly providing them with the opportunity to contribute to the lives of others.
We look forward to seeing you at what will be an exciting, fun-filled, wonderful evening!
