Grassroots Shiatsu Workshop

Shiatsu is a form of therapeutic bodywork which, whilst having its roots in Japan, includes elements of traditional Chinese medicine and philosophy. It combines ancient knowledge with modern techniques to enhance the body's natural ability to balance itself.

Qigong is a traditional Chinese movement practice. It harnesses the power of the breath and movement with the aim of creating health and balance within the body.

Grassroots Shiatsu is a great way of learning the Shiatsu basics for body-based home medicine.

This afternoon's workshop will involve qigong, self-shiatsu, holistic acupressure and cake!

You will also learn a simple routine to share with friends and family – Bring a friend to practise with!

The workshop involves standing exercises and floor work with partners. However, we will do our utmost to accommodate each individual's physical needs.

The afternoon is suitable for adults (18+) and teenagers accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Please do take a look at all the FAQ's below, there is some important info included.
