Event description
To Celebrate the launch of Gravves / Deh-Yey Split EP we will be putting on a all Day Launch Show

About this Event

We are back at beautiful St Mary's Creative Space celebrating the launch of Gravves / Deh-Yeys Split EP .

The Bands will be Heavier and the Buffet will be weirder and bigger than ever before

Gravves (North Wales)

Hailing from the North Wales border, the weird and wonderful GRAVVES are a known name in the UK’s underground scene. Since the release of their ‘OH, THE JOY’ EP, relentless gigging, festival appearances and word of mouth have seen their brand of anthemic noise amassing a fan base up and down the country.

Their latest single, ‘STEADY AS SHE GOES (AND DIES)’ takes aim at the mundane and doesn’t pull any punches. ‘I turn on the charts and it pretty much sounds all the same now,’ explains vocalist/bassist Adam Hughes. ‘There’s no bite anymore. There’s a lot of beige instead; an indistinguishable mess.’ If there’s anyone equipped to rage against that, it’s them.

Deh-Yey (Chester)

Fuzz-throttled guitars and big beats litter the songs of Deh-Yey, a monstrous two piece band from the northern city of Chester. Last year’s single ‘Death and Politics’ saw the band tackling US gun culture whilst they established a local fan base, before playing further afield and gathering momentum along the way.

Packing a riff-led punch, their latest single ‘Danephesians 4:31’ is a tongue in cheek account of a familiar biblical story, with a twist

Chupa Cabra (North Wales)

Nauseating, salivating, hypnotizing, no good sucker-punch-piss-yourself polystyrene agitator Blues.

Crapsons (Liverpool)

Hailing from the land of hopes and dreams: Wirral, Crapsons are a punk duo. Fast, heavy, noisy, silly.

Raucous punk rock, crossing over fuzzy bass and thrashing drums with comedic tongue-in-cheek lyrics

Springfield Elementary (Manchester)

They merge their favourite sounds from the last 50 years of Punk and Psychedelia to make their own fuzz-soaked cocktail. If the Brian Jonestown Massacre had a baby, Springfield Elementary would be the fruit of that labour.
