Event description

October 11th and 12th 2018 – 09:00 to 17:00 each day, London, UK

One person £575 or two people £1000 + VAT

Over the past six years, the Graydin team have trained more than a thousand educators and leaders in coaching skills. We’ve worked with teachers in the UK, Masters of Education students in the UAE, volunteers in Canada and professionals across the globe. Together, we strive to embed coaching cultures within schools and organisations to improve the wellbeing, performance and communication of leaders, managers, teachers and students.

We pride ourselves on having created a common coaching language that people can understand. We believe that time and age are not barriers to coaching. In fact, we have created tools that can effectively be used within one minute or one hour, when coaching a six-year-old child or a sixty-year-old adult.

What is coaching?

Coaching is a powerful way to help an individual or group improve their own performance. It is a specialised skill set used by educators, Fortune 500 CEOs, medical professionals and more.

A coaching approach enriches interactions: from informal conversations to management meetings, academic tutoring to performance reviews.

What is The Journey: Advanced Coaching Course?

Graydin will be hosting this two-day course for those who have previously attended Graydin’s two-day The Anatomy course. This course will increase their coaching capacity and confidence.

Participants will leave equipped with additional coaching tools and strategies to apply to students, colleagues, family members and themselves as well as the desire to embed coaching throughout their organisation.

Attending The Journey two-day course is part one of a two-part process to become a Graydin Journey alumnus. Following the course, each participant will be offered the opportunity to receive three one-hour, one-to-one coaching sessions delivered by a Graydin Coach for an additional fee. These sessions provide participants the opportunity to experience and embed the tools they learned whilst working towards personal and professional goals. One-to-one coaching sessions are optional, but for those who want to attend The Art: Facilitating as Coach, the third and final course of the Graydin Coaching Course series, they are required.

As a result of attending, participants will:

  • Understand how to develop positive relationships that raise aspirations
  • Improve the ability to facilitate and articulate constructive, positive feedback
  • Aquire tools to help others become capable and self-aware learners
  • Gain confidence and motivation to pursue and progress in new roles

We GUARANTEE that this course will increase your confidence and capacity as a coach!

But, don't take our word for it! At your request, we will happily put you in contact with any past The Journey participants.

What is the cost?

The price for one person is £575 or for two people £1000 + VAT. Maximum 12 participants. This is a special initial open course rate and includes:
