Description

Graydin's Foundational Coaching Course for Educators

17th and 18th May 2018 - 9 am to 5 pm each day

Aureus School, Oxford, UK @AureusSchool

Over the past six years, our team at Graydin have trained more than a thousand educators in coaching skills. We have worked with teachers in the UK, Masters of Education students in the UAE, and professionals across the globe. Together, we strive to embed coaching cultures within schools to improve the wellbeing, performance and communication of Senior Leaders, teachers and students.

We pride ourselves on having created a common coaching language that all teachers, students and even parents can understand. We believe that time and age are not barriers to coaching. In fact, we have created tools that can effectively be used within one minute or one hour, when coaching a six-year-old child or a sixty-year-old adult.

What is coaching?

Coaching unlocks a person’s potential and maximizes their fulfillment and performance. Coaching is a speciaised skill set used by educators, Fortune 500 CEO's, medical professionals and more.

A coaching approach enriches interactions: from informal conversations to management meetings, academic tutoring to performance reviews.

What are the benefits of coaching?

  • Coaching creates environments of optimism and accountability.
  • Coaching promotes a growth mindset.
  • Coaching improves relationships amongst teams.
  • Coaching stretches people goals and challenges what they believe is possible.
  • Coaching creates an environment of openness, collaboration and resilience.
  • Coaching improves relationships between teachers, students and parents.
  • Coaching enables teachers to provide more consistent and effective pastoral care.
  • Coaching enhances student’s independence and supports decision making.
  • Coaching enhances a person’s internal locus of control thereby increasing their motivation, autonomy, and accountability.

Together, Aureus School and Graydin will be hosting a two-day coaching course specifically designed to train teachers in coaching skills.

So join us for a course that is much more than simply two days of instruction.
