Lord Winston, Professor of Science and Society and Emeritus Professor of Fertility Studies at Imperial College London, will be discussing two great areas of his interest – music and science. He’ll be taking on the big questions such as: Where do art and science collide? What is the science of the making of a work of art? Is the skill of music a hereditary trait? How does the human brain process music and decipher meaning? What makes a great musician and a great performance?

Robert Winston is joined for the discussion by Stephen Johns, Artistic Director of the Royal College of Music and a multiple Grammy-Award winning classical record producer.
