In the week when the fire raged, and right where it all began, we will chart the dramas that played out nearly four centuries ago. Evidence is still to be found hidden in the streetscape. Dubious characters and dark dealings will be uncovered along with fire fighting, insurance, emergency measures, planning and redevelopment engineering.
Our guide has worked with local stakeholders for several decades and on commemorations in 2016 for the 350th anniversary of the Fire.
