The Great Hale Santa Run offers runners the opportunity to run around the local lanes with or without Christmas fancy dress (Santa hats are provided) plus a much shorter village run for those wishing to jog or walk around Great Hale and maybe enjoy a glass of Xmas Fizz as they go. We supply food in the village hall afterwards and a truly festive spirit. Corner Farm sausage rolls will be freshly prepared along with soup and a wide selection of cakes and sweet treats. There will be a raffle and we ask all participants to donate towards this and purchase tickets. Funds raised help to maintain the village hall and, this year, we will be raising funds for the Air Ambulance.

Frequently asked questions

What age restrictions are there?

Participants must be 16years or older to run the 10km or may be younger if accompanied by a parent or guardian (who must enter and run too) There is no minimum age to take part in the village run but children 10yrs or under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also entered in the event

Do I have to run 10km

No you don’t. There is a short village run or walk starting after the 10km event. The course around the village will be approximately one mile and you can go round 1, 2 or 3 times.

What do I get for my entry?

You get to join in a fun Santa run with feed/drink stations around the village plus food in the village hall (and raffle) after the event. All entrants are provided with a Santa hat but you are welcome to bring your own.
