From Hawkshead to Great Langdale and back.
About the Tour
The Lake District National Park is a Unesco World Heritage site and this trip gives you a close-up look at this special place. From Hawkshead your tour will include a peaceful ride through Grizedale Forest. Enjoy spectacular views over Coniston Water to the mountains beyond. We'll head into the impressive Cathedral “Caves” and see the ancient Slater’s Bridge in Little Langdale. We’ll carry on to visit the impressive U-shaped glacial valley of Great Langdale before returning to Hawkshead by the pretty shore line cycle path next to Elter Water and on quiet country lanes.
Your Leader
This ride is led by a qualified and experienced leader who is there to help you along the way. From fixing punctures, navigating the route, to giving you the lowdown on the places you are in, you can just turn up, relax and enjoy the ride.

Cost
£60 per person. Age 16+
This includes your e-bike, helmet & guided ride which is about 4 to 5 hours including a stop for lunch. (Please bring either a picnic or money for cafe / pub stop) There is a maximum of 6 riders per ride.

FAQ’s
Is there a minimum age for the guided ride?
Yes, all riders must be 16 or above. Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. (18+)
What level of rider is this suitable for?
You should be a competent cyclist for this ride. We recommend previous e-biking experience although not essential.
What terrain will we cycle on?
The route is mostly quieter roads and gravel cycle paths. There are some short steeper sections, both on and off road, but nothing too rocky. There may be roads with a bit of traffic, we try and avoid these where possible.
Do you offer private tours?
