Be the first to take on the Great Manchester Run for JDRF! For the first time ever, JDRF are offering charity places in the Great Manchester Run for 2024, and we want YOU to join us.
The Great Manchester Run is the city’s original and best-loved running event; and in true Mancunian style, it’s a party from start to finish! Runners will experience a high-energy soundtrack, live music and entertainment zones at every turn – plus, some of the loudest and most enthusiastic local support seen anywhere in the UK. Offering a 10k or half marathon route, there are options to suit all running abilities.

How much do JDRF charity places cost?
Registration fee: 10k - £15, Half Marathon - £25
Minimum fundraising target: 10k - £150, Half Marathon - £350
The money you raise will go towards pioneering research into developing and improving treatments for type 1 diabetes, which we hope will one day lead to a cure.
You will also be helping us to provide ongoing support to those affected by type 1.

*Please note: your JDRF running vest will be sent to you once you have raised £100 towards your overall target. Vests are usually sent 1-2 months ahead of the event.
