Great North Run 2024 Charity Place Application

Every day 60 women in the UK are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer and 21 die. By joining #TeamEve, you can help to improve early detection, prediction and prevention of gynae cancers, making them diseases of the past.

Our Charity Places

Our charity place applications are now open.

Whether you run your 13.1 miles in memory of a loved one, for someone affected by a gynae cancer or to help the women of the future, you can help fund life-changing research.

Fill out the application form in as much detail as possible to register your interest in one of our places.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

If your application is successful you will be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of £50 and commit to raising a minimum of £400 for The Eve Appeal.

Please note, as a small charity, places in Team Eve are limited and completing the application form does not guarantee you a place in the Great North Run 2024.

Ballot Places

If you were lucky enough to get a ballot place we’d love to have you on the team! Do get in touch by emailing lauren.siddy@eveappeal.org.uk and we can support you with your fundraising and training.

Everyone who runs as part of Team Eve will receive:

• Our fundraising guide to help you hit your target
• Regular emails and phone calls to help with fundraising and training
• Support from our Public Fundraising Officer, Lauren Siddy
• A free The Eve Appeal running vest
