How much is the registration fee for a charity place?

Your registration fee will be £35.  This fee is non refundable.

There will be an early bird offer which will be sent to everyone who enquires in 2023.

Why is the registration fee non refundable?

There is a cost incurred by the charity for our Great North Run places, so we ask for a £35 registration fee against this. We also have an obligation to ensure our runners share our commitment to raising money to stop MS. The registration fee does not count towards your minimum sponsorship.

Question 3

How much is the minimum sponsorship?

Accepted Answer

Minimum fundraising sponsorship is £300.

Having a minimum sponsorship target for each runner helps us to ensure that we are maximising the fundraising potential of the Great North Run – we have an obligation to do so and ensure that we can support the work of the MS Society.

Question 4

What will my fundraising go towards?

Accepted Answer

Your fundraising will help with MS Society continue their work in researching new and better treatments and providing support to people living with and affected by MS.

Question 5

What support will I get from the MS Society by joining the MSSuperstars team?

Accepted Answer

We will provide a dedicated staff member to be your main contact to help with any fundraising questions and sending out any materials you may need.  You will receive an MS Society branded technical running vest, support from our cheering squad along the course, and invites to our post-race tent.
