The half marathon is planned to take place on 12th September 2021 and we have charity places to raise money for the Bridging Stroke Fund at Newcastle Hospitals.

Running for our Bridging Stroke Fund means that you will make a positive difference to local people affected by stroke. With your help we want to continue to invest in new technologies and equipment to aid recovery. The fund also supports staff training and development to help our teams to advance their knowledge and skills.

Your fundraising will also help us to:

• Support development and participation in research

• Develop new guidelines for managing stroke patients across the region

• Improve patient and family facilities on the ward

• Provide patients with new technology and equipment to try new and exciting methods to aid rehabilitation

To sign up to the Great North Run with one of our Bridging Stroke Fund places we ask for a £50 registration fee and that you pledge to raise £250.
