The half marathon is planned to take place on 12th September 2021 and we have charity places to raise money for The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.

The Great North Run is a wonderful event and Sir Bobby was proud to officially start the race on two occasions.

Many people choose to run in memory of a loved one. Or simply as a challenge to get a little bit fitter. Whatever your reasons for wanting to take part, please consider running for our Foundation.

There are a limited number of charity places available and runners are asked to cover a £50 registration fee and pledge to raise £250 in sponsorship. As ever, Sir Bobby’s family and friends will be in our tent in the Charity Village at the finish with refreshments and thanks.

The money raised will help us continue the work Sir Bobby began when he launched this Foundation, finding more effective ways to detect and treat cancer.
