The Great North Snowdogs have been such a popular addition to the streets, parks and coastline of the north east, that it only seems right to give them a proper send off.
Tickets are priced at £3 as a general admission fee for all ages.* Please note tickets are subject to booking fees and VAT.
Come and say goodbye at a special weekend of celebration at Gateshead International Stadium on Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th December. The Great North Snowdogs Farewell Weekend will see all 61 large dogs come together for the final time, at a special exhibition. As well as a last chance to see your favourite pooch, you can get into the festive spirit with an outdoor Christmas market including gifts and street food at festive event for all the family.
Please note; the 50 minutes time slot relates only to the indoor Snowdog exhibition. The Christmas market is not part of your time slot leaving you free to browse at your leisure. Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the time stated on your ticket as there are likely to be queues.
All you need to do is to select your date, time, number of tickets and checkout. Your confirmation ticket for your time slot will be emailed to you. You will be required to show a digital or printed version of your ticket, so please remember to bring this with you on the day. Thank you for your support.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Every person under the age of 16 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Gateshead International Stadium is located a 5-10 minute walk from Gateshead Stadium Metro Station, which provides transport links via bus and Metro to all local destinations as well as Newcastle Airport, Newcastle Central Station and Sunderland Train Station. Go North East bus routes 93 runs between Gateshead Interchange and the Stadium and 94 between Heworth Interchange and the Stadium. These services operate every 15 minutes.
Travelling to our Great North Snowdogs Farewell Event using Tyne and Wear Metro
If you plan to use public transport, our friends at Tyne and Wear Metro have reduced limited edition Snowdog wristbands are the pawfect way for you all to get around.
Snowdog wristbands are available in family packs – valid for up to 2 adults with up to 3 accompanying children aged under 16 (proof of age may be requested). And at just £10 for all 5 wristbands, it’s a grrrrreat deal!
The wristbands are valid on Metro, the Shields Ferry and local rail services (between Newcastle and Sunderland) for one day. Simply choose the day you want to travel from the drop down list - your wristbands will be sent to you with a Great North Snowdogs one day travel card valid on that date.
You’ll need to take both the card and wristbands with you when you travel, and show them to staff when requested. Postage is free and your wristbands will be dispatched within 48 hours.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes, you can transfer your ticket to another person. If you wish to transfer your ticket, please amend your ticket details on Eventbrite.
PLEASE NOTE: The time slots are not transferable. If you miss your time slot, you will require a new ticket. The tickets are limited and not refundable.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, please login to your Eventbrite account and amend as necessary.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

What is the refund policy?
All Great North Snowdogs Farewell Event tickets are NOT refundable.
