  • Bringing together influencial Greater Manchester leaders, world-leading academics and community sector innovators to explore how we build an age-friendly city-region in Greater Manchester
  • Marking Greater Manchester's five year partnership with the Centre for Ageing Better and long-term collaboration with the World Health Organisation

About Greater Manchester Ageing Hub:

  • Set up by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) in March 2016
  • Improve the lives of people aged 50 and over living in Greater Manchester
  • Make GM the first age-friendly city region in the UK 
  • Make GM a global centre of excellence for ageing, pioneering new research, technology and solutions across the whole range of ageing issues 
  • Increase economic participation amongst the over-50s in GM
