About this event

Health • Mental health

Greater Manchester Mental Health Homeless Hub is delighted to showcase their services on 23/09/25 and celebrate the fantastic work and level of care that these services provide to one of the most marginalised and vulnerable patient groups; homeless people.

The Homeless Hub comprises of five services:

· Manchester Mental Health Homeless Team

· Inclusion Health Homeless Team Salford

· Housing First

· Rough Sleeping Initiative

· Rough Sleepers Drug & Alcohol service Bolton & Salford

Each of these services works to an assertive outreach, trauma informed model, with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals providing care to individuals with co-occurring conditions and complex needs who are experiencing homelessness. We work closely with internal GMMH services and external partners including Local Authorities and the VCSE sector in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for our service users.

The showcase event will include the exciting launch of our Homeless Hub film which has been filmed with GMMH staff, external partners and includes the voice and experience of the service user.

Alongside a key note speech from Service Manager Adam Clayton, case studies from across the Homeless Hub will be presented by practitioners to describe how the innovative work that our services deliver can make real and significant change to people’s lives, with the privilege of also hearing from one of our service users who features in the film to describe her journey. We will hear from some of our specialist practitioners across the Homeless Hub including Speech and Language Therapy, Neuropsychology, Clinical Psychology and Advanced Clinical Practitioner. There will also be an opportunity for questions with a Q&A panel at the end.

Please join us to celebrate the incredible work GMMH homeless services are able to deliver alongside internal and external partnership agencies in order to provide care and engagement that homeless people would otherwise likely not be able to access.
